About us

• NEMATEL Dr. R. Eidenschink was founded 1987 in Mainz, Germany as private company and changed to an incorporated status in 2003.

• The main task is the synthesis and distribution of materials for liquid crystal displays, in particular of nematogenic single compounds, dichroic dyes and prepolymers.

• NEMATEL hosts a long time of experience in the field of thermotropic liquid crystals. Therefore we can help with advice and the synthesis of new compounds for the solution of special problems of display techniques.

• Beyond that we provide mesogenic lubricants with unique advantages especially in slide bearings for the engineering industry.

• In January 2013 Dr. Holger Kretzschmann took over the company and is now owner of  NEMATEL GmbH & Co. KG.
